Born as an act of love by the artist Franco Summa towards the community, the Summa Foundation aims at affirm, through art, collective values and promote the quality of urban spaces.

The Foundation supports, especially among young people, initiatives characterized by a spirit of conscious and responsible participation, which contribute to the livability of urban places. It highlights the fundamental role of art in the aesthetic, symbolic, social and psychological qualification of places of collective and personal life.

PACU AWARD

“To fulfill what we promised Franco Summa is a moral obligation: to revive his art constantly.” The words of Ottorino La Rocca, president of the Summa Foundation, are the mission of the Urban Contemporary Art, Franco Summa and Adina Riga Award. The International award is intended for young artists who will present projects for the redevelopment of urban places, city spaces but also schools, communities and social activity centers.
